And a special cheer for our Attendance Champions! 🏆🎉 They had the highest attendance across school this week, earning some well-deserved special time AND the chance to keep the coveted Attendance Trophy in their classroom all week!

It was wonderful to welcome the parents and carers of our delightful Year 7 students to our Pastoral Parents` Evening last night as part of the transition process.
The evening provided an opportunity for families to discuss any pastoral matters with their child`s form tutor, including how well their child has settled into school and any concerns or worries they may have.
We were delighted to hear such positive feedback and to learn that our Year 7 students have settled in exceptionally well. They are making excellent personal and social progress, embracing new opportunities and becoming valued members of our school community.
Thank you to all the parents and carers who attended. We look forward to continuing to work together to support our young people throughout their secondary school journey.

Everyone at Standish Community High School would like to wish our Year 7 student Aksharan the very best of luck as he takes on a fantastic 5K challenge this Saturday in support of SANDS (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Charity).
