I am an experienced senior education leader with a strong moral purpose and an unwavering commitment to improving outcomes for all children and young people, particularly those who are most vulnerable. In my current role as Head of Education Improvement within a large local authority, I lead complex, system-wide work across education services, including SEND, inclusion, attendance, alternative provision and school improvement.

I am deeply passionate about ensuring that every child, regardless of background, need or circumstance, can access a high-quality education and achieve their full potential. I am especially driven to champion the needs of children with additional vulnerabilities, including those with special educational needs and disabilities, those at risk of exclusion and those who are missing from education. My work is rooted in the belief that inclusion, early intervention and strong partnership working are critical to improving life chances.

With a background in senior leadership in secondary schools, I bring a strong understanding of teaching, learning and curriculum, alongside strategic leadership expertise. I have led large teams and worked collaboratively with schools, multi-agency partners and system leaders to deliver sustainable improvement and build capacity across the system. My approach is grounded in evidence-informed practice, clear accountability and a relentless focus on outcomes.

I am a collaborative and values-driven leader who places relationships at the heart of my work. I am committed to working alongside headteachers, practitioners and partners to co-produce solutions that reflect the needs of communities. I believe in developing others, empowering leaders at all levels, and creating a culture where professionals feel supported, challenged and inspired to make a difference. 

Outside of work, I am part of a local panto group and enjoy musical theatre.
