Having started my career in the NHS and then the pharmaceutical industry I spent the last 35 years of it in sales and marketing roles in the IT industry almost exclusively working for organisations engaged with the Public Sector and Education before retiring from full time employment in 2023.  I spent most of the last 20 years of my working life at Dell Technologies where I initially ran the healthcare business before taking up the Vice President role running the whole Public Sector Business as well as sitting on the UK Board.

There has been significant change driven by technology over the last 35 years and I hope to bring my experience of this with me as well as a passion for helping the next generation of young people prepare for what is increasingly a digital workplace.

Outside of work I am married with a grown up son and spend my time fundraising with the Brain Tumour Charity, as well as still training for and taking part in triathlons where I can.
